Patrick McHugh is a gifted minister, a talented musician and amazing sound engineer. He is passionate about sharing the love of Christ by equipping the local church with the tools to grow. A lifelong Vermont resident, he and Alison have been making music together since the 7th grade. By day, Pat lends his work ethic and servant heart to a local contracting company, in addition to coaching young athletes. In 2013, Pat founded the Vermont Christian Conference Series which has grown to become Dwelling Ministries, an organization set up to bring the best in music and technology training to the body of Christ in New England.
Alison McHugh is the oldest child in the Dudash family, born and raised in the Mad River Valley in Central Vermont. She grew up in a tight knit, mission driven, spirit-filled church and has been a worship leader since she was 13 years old. Alison has a background in early childhood education and food service management and currently facilitates research and alumni programming for a wilderness therapy program. On evenings and weekends you can find her writing songs, mentoring songwriters, encouraging worship leaders and traveling around the Green Mountain State leading worship at various events.
TUESDAY HOUR OF WORSHIP
WHO: If you are a singer and or a musician who is looking for an outlet or opportunity to worship alongside other like-minded believers, we have a place for you!
WHAT: Hour of Worship
WHERE: 150 Cherry Street, Burlington VT
WHEN: Every Tuesday evening from 6:30-7:30pm
WHY: To facilitate a time and space for the big "C" Church to come together to worship.
The Hour of Worship is a safe place for singers and musicians of all skill levels and denominations to collaborate in a time of informal worship. Each week the band rotates and is made up of different people from a variety of churches all over the state. Its a beautiful representation of the body of Christ here in Vermont! In order to make it an accessible time commitment for the singers and musicians, we don’t practice as a band ahead of time. Those who are scheduled to play or sing each week are only asked to arrive 15-30 minutes before it starts. Songs are chosen ahead of time and the set list is sent out to the participants. On Tuesday nights we try let go of our inadequacies, focus on Jesus and just go for it!
The Hour of Worship is also a place for non singers and musicians to have a mid-week opportunity for corporate worship with fellow believers. We pray that these times of worship are family friendly and welcome children and youth of all ages. We often say that “if we can’t worship with a 3 year old running around then it’s not the 3 year old’s problem.”

Dwelling Ministries holds a gathering of songwriters in Burlington, VT. It is be a safe place to co-write in small groups. The meetings are on the last Wednesday of every month from 6-9pm at 150 Cherry St. in Burlington. Bring your guitar. Keyboards available on site.
